Beautiful example of a mid-century bridal solitaire by Cosmic manufactured in the 1960's. Recently acquired from a jeweler's estate, this ring had been in his vault since he closed his Chicago area jewelry store in 1987. The ring weighs 3.80 grams and features a solid 14 karat white gold band with black enameled leaf motif in 14 karat yellow gold. There is a prong-set genuine Diamond which I estimate weighs approximately 1/10 carat. The Diamond is G color, VS clarity. Finger size is a 6.5 and the ring shank is marked COSMIC-14K.
