Vintage and authentic US Buffalo nickel is set in a handmade Sterling Silver .925 pendant setting. This is a unisex piece, which is sure to turn heads! (Please note, the 1928 is featured in the images, which we no longer have).
The pendant measures 1.31" x 0.94", including bail (33mm x 24mm)
Weight of the pendant is 7.60 grams (including the nickel)

Buffalo nickel was designed by James E. Fraser, a well-known sculptor. The obverse portrait was modeled from life by studying three native American models, while the reverse was styled from a bison, popularly called a buffalo, at the Bronx Zoo in New York City.
About the coin...
The obverse depicts the head of a native American facing right, with LIBERTY in small letters at the upper right edge, and the date at the lower left. The reverse shows a bison standing on a raised mound, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and E PLURIBUS UNUM above, and FIVE CENTS on a mound below.
